Evgeni plans music video with ballet star

Two-time World Champion Evgeni Plushenko and will join Anastasia Volochkova, one of Russia’s most famous ballet stars, to produce a music video.

The production will be a love story featuring Plushenko and Volochkova.

There is no date set when the music video will be released. The date will be published on Plushenko’s official Web site.

Volochkova is a multi-talented Prima Donna. She is also a fashion and makeup model, a show business personality and an actress who is very popular with the Russian mass media.

Volochkova appears on popular TV programs, she is featured on huge billboards along all major thoroughfares in Moscow and models clothes in various fashion shows.

Volochkova, 27, was a top dancer with the Bolshoi ballet. She was invited to perform at the Bolshoi Theater from Mariinsky theatre in St. Petersburg in 1996 by one of the best Soviet-era ballet dancers, Vladimir Vasilyev, who was the Bolshoi director. Choreography master Yuri Grigorovich, who discovered many talented ballet dancers, worked with Volochkova while she performed with the Bolshoi.

Plushenko’s ballet skills, displayed so gracefully on ice, has helped him become the most dominant male figure skater in the world.

He was a talented dancer in his youth. Plushenko so impressed a choreographer from the Mariinsky Theater Ballet that he was offered the chance to dance instead of skate.
