Evgeni Plushenko is a perfectionist. He is always trying to nail the perfect program. And to impress the judges to reward a 6.0 is a feat upon itself.

Evgeni has accumulated 70 6.0s entering his seventh year of senior competition. His first 6.0 was awarded for his presentation mark at the NHK Trophy in 1998. Evgeni was only 16 years old - the youngest male figure skater to ever record a perfect mark in a senior competition.

Evgeni has won every competition that he has been awarded at least one 6.0 in either technical merit or presentation.Here's 6 "perfect" examples of Evgeni's drive toward perfection:

• Awarded 20 6.0s at the 2004 Russian Nationals
• Awarded 6 6.0s at the 2003 Grand Prix Final.
• At 2003 Grand Prix Final he totaled 8 perfect marks.

• Received 2 6.0s for technical merit - the most difficult way to earn a perfect score.
• Averaging 2.91 perfect marks per competition earning at least 1 6.0
• In only 3 competitions in 2003 he was awarded 11 6.0s.
