Dear Zhenya,
I had a chance to see you in Prague. Thanks for being so kind to all the fans although it was a very difficult night for you. It was a difficult night for me too because I travelled from Istanbul just to see you skate live. Well, at least I got an autograph. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Great New Year...
Keep on rocking in 2005!!!
Hande from Istanbul

Hello Evgeni,
I’m living in a country where you can rarely find ice but I have been following figure skating championships for more than 20 10-15 years and it is the first time that I could not keep myself from a a short mail to say that it is a great fun to watch your performance on the ice.

Happy birthday and thank you very much for your passion, ambition, desire which makes the way you skate unique. Hope to see you on ice for a long time.

I would like to send you photos from Istanbul which I hope you will like as a birthday present.

Hope you have the opportunity to read this email.

From Peggy Rochain

I design a happybirthday card for Evgeni. I wish he will see this and I wish a happy successful healthy life for him.

Dear Evgeni,
Congratulations for winning the " Cup of Russia" and "the Marshalls World Cup"!!! That's really a very good start of the season! I wish you lot's of success at the Grand Prix Final in Beijing China!
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!!!
Best regards,
Monique Werkman,
the Netherlands.

Dear Plishenko,
I am Chinese girl now studying in Beijing. Last saturday night, I had watched your consummate performance and had been moved by you. It was the first time I saw the live performence of figure skating, in the past years, I watched TV programs, and I was so lucky that I had saw your skating. I don't know how to express my feeling of watching your skating,I was lost in your skating . It was a big big mistake that I sat in the opposite seat of your's--the seat for the player, or I would tell you my name. I wanted you to remember me!!!:) because I promised to myself that I would go to see your skating again in my life time. Please do not take my promise as it is ridiculous and childish. No matter what you think, I will keep my promise in mind until that day when I saw you again.! And if you really read my letter, would you please write an e-mail back to me ?
If you are so busy that just a few words is enough. I am waiting for it!! Thank you for reading!!! :)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

yours sincerely

Dear Zhenya!
I'd like to say: Happy Birthday. Good luck to you, but to you don't need this way. I know as you like strawberry cheesecake, but I don't found strawberry cheesecake picture, I send a strawberry cake picture (this is my favourite cake) and a citation (I don't turn down: very-very sorry). And I wait Saturday (november 6), because I'll see you in my home town. Saturday will my big day. :)

Dear Evgeni,

I would like to transmit you kind regards from your fans from the Czech Republic. We made Christmas and New Year wishes for you and placed them on this page http://plushenko.aktualne.cz/PF2005.htm.

We hope that it make you happy and we are sorry for some grammatical mistakes.

With love,
Alena, webmaster of http://plushenko.aktualne.cz

Zhenya,

I loved all 3 of your Exhibition programs. They were fantastic! Also, I would love to have been the lady you danced with in the audience. That would have made me the happiest person for the rest of my life.

The emotion and happiness you showed when you won the Worlds was wonderful. You were like a lion - THE KING. As far as I am concerned, you are as near perfect as a human being can get!

I hope that you enjoyed the singing bulldog and angel and cards that I sent to Dortmund with Larissa.

I especially enjoy the photos on Petra's sites - the one of you, your Mom and Uljyana shows so much happiness.

You are a very special person - stay the way you are - I wish you and Uljyana the best forever.

I hope you get a chuckle from the cartoon I am sending - I thought of you when I saw it.

Please try to get "Champions on Ice" to come to Baltimore, Maryland in 2005. I can't seem to get an answer from them. It is pretty much the only way I can get to see you, since I am a senior citizen and don't drive to the other shows.

I hope your knee operation solves your pain problems and gets you ready for the Olympics (where you will win gold).

Enjoy your summer!!!

Love, hugs and prayers
Your friend,
Betty fromNew Freedom, PA

First, I wanted to congratulate you for your short program at the Worlds. That was surely amazing (georgeous!!).
On Thursday I supported you all day long. I got stomach-ache and everything similar happened with me when somebody is nervous. I was praying for a "clean" program for you. Well you are the best. The gold medal is the proof but the other evidence is the number of your fans throughout the world who give you the gold all from their heart. You are a showman, a wonderful and talented entertainer.
I just want to say a big thank you so much for this unforgetable experience. All my respect is yours, because of your force in spirit. I hope your knees will be cured, and you will be healthy again. You can finally relax a bit after this long and tiring season.
Finally let me show you what I had been working on for a week. (You inspired it).

My only task is to wish you the best

Anita Adam

Hi Evgeni,
First, congratulations for winning gold on Worlds '04. You were amazing, but I think many people tell you this, so I will tell it in a bit different way:

Figure skating could be just sport or it could be art.

When you skate, it is always art. And this is something that I wrote about "Art on ice":

Fire On Ice
It's simply said
But it is true
You're born for ice
Ice is for you
Although look still the same
It's never the same twice
For sure you have this 'something'
You're just Fire On Ice
Not skate but fly
Not sky but dance
No doubt - the best
And not by chance
Maybe not different but
You're never the same twice
Not usual, no. You are
Fire and Art On Ice

I have heard that there would be an exhibition gala in Poland and I hope you would be there.

'Bazylia' from Poland

Dear Evgeni,
I wish you all the best to your 21st birthday from the bottom of my heart! I think you made yourself the best present winning Skate Canada! I followed the results live on the Internet and I was very happy to know you have won! I saw your performances from Skate Canada already by downloading videos from the Internet, unfortunately Grand Prix is not on TV in Germany. I wanted to let you know I really LOVE your new programs! I enjoyed them so much! I hope you will recover from your injury soon and I hope you will find a little rest. I wish you that this season will be as successful as the last one. We will be always there to cheer for you!
Petra from Germany

Dear Evgeni
I just wanted to email you and say how much I enjoyed you Smart Ones Skate America performance- even with people saying you were not feeling your best you were still awe-inspiring to watch. I have never, ever seen someone who can skate with the amount of pure strength and grace that you do. You have a very rare gift, and you are still so young.
